NEW PRESIDENT ANNOUNCED FOR COPECO, INC.
NORTH CANTON, OH - Visual Edge Technology, Inc. (Visual Edge) announced today that David Mielnicki has been appointed President of Copeco, Inc. Copeco is part of the Visual Edge Technology family of imaging solution companies and Ohio’s oldest authorized Sharp office equipment dealer.
Mr. Mielnicki will report to Brian Frank, who is the President of Visual Edge’s core office equipment company. Mr. Frank brought Mr. Mielnicki into Visual Edge in 2007 and has given him management direction and support over the past year through the core office solutions group. “We are pleased to advance our efforts in this marketplace through Copeco and welcome David in his new responsibilities,” said Mr. Frank.
Mr. Mielnicki, an office equipment veteran with over 20 years experience in the industry representing Canon, Ricoh and Oce’ North America, commented, “I’m very impressed with the direction and vision that Visual Edge has for Copeco and I look forward to expanding on that vision as President. Our goal has been and always will be to provide Ohio businesses with world-class products and support.”
Mr. Austin Vanchieri, Chairman and CEO of Visual Edge Technology said, “David provides strong sales and operational experience and we look forward to the energy and leadership he will bring to his new role. On a related note, Mr. Vanchieri, confirmed the continuing support of New Enterprise Associates with its latest equity investment in Visual Edge Technology totaling $3 million dollars through May 2008. These investments are in support of the corporation’s continuing efforts to expand through acquisition on a national basis.
